What We Believe
The Scriptures remain the foundation of our beliefs, and they guide our operations and ministry activities. We have highlighted our Beliefs in the following paragraphs.
About the Scripture
The Scripture, both the Old and the New Testaments are inspired Word of God. They are without error in the original writings, and the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. Consequently, the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16;Hebrews 4:12).
There is only one God. The Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and externally existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
About Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, because of our sins according to the Scripture. Further, on the third day, He arose bodily from the dead because of our justification. He ascended on high, and is now our High Priest and Advocate (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25).
About the Holy Spirit
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, during this age to convict men of sin, and regenerate the believing sinners. And to indwell, and guide, instruct and empower believers so that they can live a godly and fruitful life (John 16:7-10)
Man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost. It is only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained (Genesis 2:7; Romans 3:23)
The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification for all who believe. So, It is only those who receive Jesus are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become God’s children (Romans 3:24,25 )
About Water Baptism
Water Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances of the Church. They are, however, not to be regarded as a means of salvation, because His blood alone secures our salvation (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:41).
About the Body of Christ
The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in its totality is the Body of which Christ is the Head, and of which all true believers are part of (Ephesians 4:4-16).
About a Local Church
A local Church is an organized body of believers who have voluntarily bound themselves together for the purpose of worship. Additionally, for mutual encouragement and service, spiritual nourishment and growth, and for the proclamation of the Gospel to the world. (Hebrews 10:24, 25).
About Partnership in Local Church
Partnership in the local Church is a privilege and responsibility of all believers who willingly submit to church’s authority. (Hebrews 13:17).
About Second Coming
The personal and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. And this blessed hope has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believers (1 Thessalonians 3:13; Revelation 22:12).
The bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord. And of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment (2 Thessalonians 1:7-10; Revelation 19:11-16).
