We Are Not Against the Enemy that Can’t be Stopped
The enemies can be stopped in his operation, whenever they are found operating anywhere. This is the truth, that must be accepted, celebrated, and practiced as believers. Wherever you find anything, that does not look like God’s operation, within your area of influence, you have the authority from Christ to stop it.
Don’t Negotiate with the Enemy
You are not called to negotiate with the enemy; you are commanded to resist him. God is not going to resist the enemy on your behalf, because He has committed the responsibility into your hand. He has given you the power and authority, to trample upon serpent and scorpion, and over all the power of the enemy.
The enemy can only continue in his operation in your life, or territory, as long as you allow him. You remember, the demon possessed girl was shouting after Paul and his team in the Acts of the Apostles, for a space of many days, until Paul confronted her, and commanded the devil to come out of her; and the demon came out that very hour.
The Enemy Will Stop When You Resist him
The demon did not flee out, because Paul was an apostle, he fled because Paul resisted him. The devil you don’t resist, has the right to continue its operation in your life. The devil can be stopped, but he won’t stop until someone dare to resist him.
I have always interpreted this scripture (James 4:7) as, our submission to God is necessary to effectively resist the devil, and that is true. But this morning, the Lord also revealed to me, that resisting the devil is submitting to God.
When I allow the enemy to continue to operate in my life without resistance, I am living in rebellion to God’s command. Don’t keep quiet in the face demonic oppression, open your mouth, exercise your authority, resist the devil, in the name of Jesus, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7 (NKJV) Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Father, by the authority of the name of Jesus, I break and destroy all satanic activities, in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name.
Let’s talk about it.
What do you do, when you notice the devil is behind an ongoing challenge in your life?
